AISI 4340

AISI 4340 is an alloy steel, with high tensile strength, good wear resistance and high strength properties. This grade is used in gears, shafts, studs and bolts. Hardness is 248/302 HB. By induction or nitrating processing, it can be fully hardened. It is available in all diameters i.e. round, flat etc.
