Hardening: Uniform Heating to 823/850°c is needed.It is quenched in oil.
Tempering : Heat Uniformly and to be tempered upto 660°.It is to be held at heat for two hours.
Tempering 250-375° C in not recommended as it reduce as it reduce steel impact valueStress Relieving: Heation slowly to 650-670° and then well soaked.En24 tool is cooled in a furncae or in air.
