Boiler Steel Plate

Boiler Steel Plates are used forfabrication of boilers in the industries. These hot rolled steel plates are available in a variety of grades and thickness and they are developed to a superior quality, so that it can hold out the internal pressure in the boilers and in the valves. The carboncontent is high in steel plates i.e. 0.16 %-0.29. Diversity in usage and longevity make these plates very popular.

Different Grades of Boiler Steel Plate

ASTM A516 Grade 70 – great durability and is used as a part in both weight vessels and modern boilers.
A516 Grade 70 offers good yield quality in comparison to ASTM A516 Grade 65 and it can even work in lower temperature .

Heat Treatment

P20 apparatus steels are acrimonious to 871-899°C (1600-1650°F) in the carburizing average during the carburizing process. After getting carburized, these steels are acrimonious to 816-871°C (1500-1600°F) in adjustment to be accustomed and again captivated for 15 account and assuredly oil quenched.
