Corten A

Corten A is widely used at construction sites to strengthen building structures. This plate exhibit superior corrosion resistance over regular steel, thus forms a protective compound film on the metals surface that slows down additional corrosion. The atmospherically corrosion resistance of Corten A steel in most environments is well higher than that of carbon structural steels with or while not copper addition. Once properly exposed to the atmosphere, Corten A steel is appropriate for several applications within the vacant (unpainted) condition. Corten A is a Weather Resistant Steel.
